She was taken into custody by Polk County Sheriff’s Office detectives after a Lakeland Senior High School student informed school resource officers on December 3 of the video.

According to police, the video contained explicit footage of Davis having sex with a student. It was discovered that she had unprotected sex with a student at least four times, twice at her house and twice at his house.
The victim was a young boy of age below 17 years at the time of the alleged crimes, according to police.
The video was uploaded to different social media such as Snapchat and Reddit before being brought to the school’s attention. As a result, many Lakeland High football players and other students saw the video before it was taken down.

According to news from the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, she was arrested on Friday and charged with sexual assault and crimes against students by an authority figure.
She was ordered to post $60,000 in bonds for all five offenses, and her initial hearing date is set for January 10, 2022.

“This is a gross violation of sexual assault laws,” Sheriff Grady Judd said of Davis’ arrest on Friday in a statement. He further added, “She was in a position of power over the victim, and she used it for her pleasure.”
Superintendent Frederick Heid stated that it is a flagrant betrayal of the student’s trust in the teacher. He further mentions, “This type of behavior has no place in our schools.”
Students will be skeptical and distrustful of their teachers due to such incidents. She should be punished for her hideous behavior so that the case of sexually assaulting the minor will be in control.
