Tonight’s edition of Dynamite featured Swerve Strickland and his Mogul Affiliates in a vignette. The former AEW World Tag Team Champion recalled his confrontation with Dustin Rhodes from Rampage last week.
Strickland said he’ll take out Brian Pillman Jr. this Friday on Rampage. He then referred to the tattooed guy by his name, “Trench,” who spoke for the first time in front of AEW camera.
For those wondering about Trench’s real-life background, he’s a former baseball player and he trained at Jay Lethal’s school prior to his AEW Dynamite debut last night. His real name is Granden Goetzman.
It remains to be seen whether or not Trench will make his televised debut in the buildup to AEW Revolution. Stay tuned to Ringside News for more from the world of pro wrestling.
